Just get Crawford his TJ surgery, DL Gonzalez until his shoulder is strong enough to actually hit home runs again, and let Pedroia stay on the DL until he actually heals up for once. This season is going nowhere.

Well, Germano can cover the depth innings and then get optioned tomorrow. If nothing else, the Sox have the AAA bullpen depth to handle a disaster start before a double-header.

Crawford is saying the elbow still bothers him and surgery is a possibility in the offseason. Why don't they just get him under the knife and fixed ASAP instead of bringing him back injured and then putting opening day 2013 into jeopardy too?
