Someone mentioned that she often sounds like she doesn't know the meaning of some of the things she's saying. Since then, it's hard not to notice.

To be more specific, instead of defining a vey small zone and only swinging at a pitch that he recognized in that zone, he appeared to gear up for a fastball no matter what and swung at one in a location not in his sweet spot, and was thus off-balance and unable to square the bat on the ball when he did so.
