Ain't no Maier in Camden.

I can't believe Hammel stayed out there. I'm going to be cringing with every pitch the rest of the way.

I didn't see the initial hit, so all I heard was that the ball hit him, so I was like "Oh, no, not like McCarthy...."

Thankfully, he not only stayed in, he still did relatively well.

Yeah, I hope he can last another couple innings tonight, but I can't imagine a bullet off his throwing elbow won't stiffen up pretty quickly.

There's nothing I hate more than a team using a LOOGY when they're down by 4 in the fifth inning. Girardi gets bonus points for LOOGYing Nate McLouth.

The Binder told him to.

Not that it matters, but McLouth actually has a slight reverse platoon split this year.

Nate McLouth. Fifth inning. LOOGY time. Mike Marshall is spinning in his grave.

Strop was not even close on the four pitches to Dickerson. Can't believe Showalter is going to stick with him here.

I have to admit, I was really glad to see Ichiro get a hit there.

If Jeter doesn't bloop one to right here I'll be shocked.

Well, I'm shocked.

That's on Buck. No reason to stick with a clearly rattled Strop so long.

That was a fantastic time for a home run.

That's not a bad time either.

Mark Reynolds, Yankee Killer.

I wonder if a big comeback is tough to pitch in. Robertson probably spent much of this game thinking he wasn't going to be involved then got thrust in there in short order and I wonder if he wasn't 100% physically or mentally ready to go.

Mark Reynolds is the Yankees' Daddy. That makes him Pedro's grandfather, I guess. Which is weird.

This has a really good chance at being my least favorite Yankee team of all-time. I would say they're a strong favorite for that. God, I hate them.
