As a fan of baseball who enjoyed the late 70s through mid 80s, I LIKE the fact that you have a blazer reminiscent of my youthful memories.
I saw McGee and Ozzie score on a sac fly in the 80's with the Cardinals. As you guys know there was a faster guy on that team.
Vince Coleman wasn't there yet.
In the 80's?
Ok Mister Pedanticpants.
Did McGee and Ozzie both score on more than one sac fly?
Jay screwed up... he never positioned himself for the throw... mind you, it's one of those plays where you don't think you have to position yourself..
I remember, on the video game, I scored from second with Kenny Lofton on a routine infield grounder.
so scoring from second on a sac fly in that scenario really is not that impressive
Willie Mays scored twice on infield pop ups - once in May of 1959 and once in May 1961. In the game in 1959 he also stole two bases
Here's the MLB.com link for Hamilton's exploits in that game, the scoring play is at about 1:05.
Billy Hamilton is fast
#41 - Youtube is blocked for me, but is that Alfredo Griffin?
You must not have had the audio on.
This Hamilton kid seems to have pretty good speed.
