I don't think Reddit sanctions the AMAs, I think you can just do one (obviously no one will care if you're a nobody), though I might be wrong.
Wil Wheaton, of course, is all over Reddit.
Schwarzenegger did an AMA and now he's a fairly regular poster in their bodybuilding subreddit. I always think it's weird that celebrities (and even not-quite celebrities like washed up MLB relievers) aren't seen more often in the various Internet communities. If being a celebrity meant having to give up my downtime of websurfing and the communities I like to visit, I'd drop it like a hot rock.
