Segura NL Player of the Week

The Brewers have lost nine of their last 10, but shortstop Jean Segura’s outstanding play during the past week earned him National League Player of the Week honors for the period ending May 12.

In five games last week, Segura hit an NL-best .500 over 20 at-bats while leading the league in slugging percentage (.950) and on-base percentage (.545).

translation: the brewers pitching stinks but they have some guys in the field who can play.

my guess is that it's a weak ass play on the Brewers celebration that involves some type of beast. For some ####### strange ass reason the msm is obsessed with the Brewers celebrations, instead of the great Brewers team. I mean the Brewers won the first game, and seriously the guy who is interviewing Braun and Fielder is talking about their celebrations and not their ####### play.

I'm not sure of their other options, but the Brewers would be nuts to send Marcum out there again. He's broken.

Amen, AND it's unprofessional bias. The media certainly covers the Cardinals with the proper attention to how the team is... SQUIRREL!

Even if Pujols re-signs with the Cardinals, I hope his skills never diminish. He's so much fun to watch.
