    SABR Analytics Conference, March 7-9, 2013 Phoenix, AZ

    The 2013 SABR Analytics Conference will be held Thursday, March 7 through Saturday, March 9, 2013, in downtown Phoenix, Arizona.

    Thursday’s programming will be held at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, 555 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85004.

    Friday and Saturday’s programming will be held at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, 340 North 3rd Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004.

    40 bucks a night 4 blocks away on Broad st. Now taking bids for roommates. Or $120 a night at a 4 diamond hotel.

    Living out in Mt. Airy, I'm debating whether to go the hotel route or stay at home. Home would be a lot cheaper, but I suspect I'll be pretty upset when I'm leaving at 11:30 to catch the last train back home.

    Just booked two rooms with two queen beds in each room. Total comes to $180.00 for each room for check in on July 31st and check out on August 4th.

    Unfortunately I doubt I'm going to be able to afford any of it this year, which is a shame considering how close it will be. I'll possibly try one overnight somewhere with my GF but chances looking very low.

    I say this every year and the inevitably can't follow through (although I did spend a very long night drinking with everyone last year), but I plan to return. I may be accompanied by the Mrs. for at least one or two of the days, so it'll be awhile before I can pin down my hotel plans.
