Indeed, scanning the 2013 roster, only an optimist of Ernie Banksian dimensions would find four future Hall-of-Famers. I only count two position players who have even made the All-Star team as Cubs: Starlin Castro (2011, 2012), Alfonso Soriano (2007, 2008). Castro is still a work in progress and The Fonz can only hope for lasting recognition if his outfield hop turns into a Gangnam style YouTube sensation.

dale stating that he has the shotgun spray fall on him regularly is disconcerting. i hunted for decades with a shotgun and always followed the simple but effective safety protocols. these guys are trying to cover too much ground per walk thru is my guess

not just that, but they likely had little strategy between themselves in terms of protocol. know your target and beyond and this doesn't happen.

Some 1 told me to come to this thread Al whats the big deal Yount shoots Sveum this is no thing new. Hall of Aimers have been trying to shoot bad manganers since Hector was a Pup. Half the time I would go to the Cell back in the day and Tom Seaver would be sitting outside the clubhouse trying to get a clear shot at Ozzie Guillen. Wed travel to Cleve. and youd see Bob Feller filing little crosses into the tips of his bullets to use on Eric Wedge. My favorite was going duck hunting up in Wisc. with AJ 1 summer and next thing you know Ned Yost is running like hell across a clearing from Henry Aaron chasing him in a Sherman Tank. Al you have no idea what goes on in the off seizon.
