There was excitement in plenty in Tulsa, Okla., Tuesday, when the White Sox, with Walter Johnson pitching, beat the Giants, 6 to 0. Matty toiled for New York. In addition to seeing the two famous pitchers work, the Tulsans witnessed the collapse of a stand on which 500 people were standing. A company of soldiers was marching beneath the seats and was crushed by the crowd. Chester Taylor, soldier, was killed.
