Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Mike Piazza and Craig Biggio have been elected to the Hall of Merit!
The timing for our first year electing 4 candidates could not have worked out better, since class of 2013 is the strongest in terms of electees that we’ve ever had. The top of the 1934 ballot included Ty Cobb, Tris Speaker, Eddie Collins, Pop Lloyd, Smokey Joe Williams and Cristobal Torriente, but only 2 were elected.
Bonds and Clemens were each unanimous at 1 and 2. I believe that’s the first ...

i hope glanville keeps writing for the times for a long time, his articles are much better than either the normal jock stuff or the normal idiot sports writing idiots.
I'm no expert, but my favorite H&O song is "Method Of Modern Love".
I love you, man!

The most played one is Out of Touch (played 258 times), followed by How does it feel to be back (89), You've lost that lovin' feelin' (82), So Close (76) and She's Gone (60).
Fall in Philly is a song I only heard within the last year, but which I have liked enormously (44 plays already).
Will check some of the songs listed above, as I may have them on my play list and simply not remember their names.
H & O are the type of artists that will eventually be "re-discovered" and will be appreciated by future generations for the shere amount of great work that they did.
P.S. As an aside, about a year ago I started sampling Foreigner's albums, and was very impressed. There's a ton of songs there that I was unawasre of which are A+.
He seems like the type of guy who you would love to talk to for a couple of hours. Even if you don't agree with his points of view, that must be a fun conversation.
Sort of like Joe Pos.
As for H&O, I was never nuts about them, but Out of Touch and Kiss On My List were big faves of mine in high school.
Interesting comment about Foreigner. Mentally I tend to think of them as just another 70s band, but when I actually go back and listen to them, they do have a lot of good stuff.
But Girl on the Moon, Luanne or Break it Up (all from 4) are great songs, to just give you one album. And since none of those were on the greatest hits that I had access to when I was a younger man (late 80s/early 90s), I was unaware of them until getting that album (plus Head Games and Inside Information) dirt cheap on Amazon.
Favorite Hall and Oates? Has to be this appearance.
Although, for some reason, Darryl seems a bit creepy on his Palladia show.
(Yes, drum machines and blaring modern production. I ate this song up like syrup)
I'm starting to think Doug's gay. Or maybe he just has really bad taste in music. :-)
Also, Foreigner is terrible.
