Amador is a ####### giant. His listed weight is 315 lbs.
“We have increased our scouting of the Mexican baseball leagues and believe there are many players that can help the Houston Astros in the future.”
Why does Mexico produce so few MLBers for a country that large?
It's a minor sport in comparison to soccer. Soccer is far more popular there.
2) If he makes it to the majors, Amador may be the fattest/biggest player in MLB history.
Heras may have the best chance at success because of his CF tools, young age, and history of success against older players in the Mexican League.

Yea, I get that, but its a very populous country where baseball is at least a pretty popular sport. Seems like they should producing more players than they are.
Yeah, Amador doesn't look like he's in the best of shape.
BB-Ref lists him at 6-4, 215. I'm guessing he hasn't seen 215 since the eighth grade.
Did Sabathia ever pitch to Pickering?
Was that the "biggest" matchup in MLB history?
