How does a pro athlete break a wrist hoisting a divan?
He broke his wrist in southern California, so of course he had operated on in New York. Did they make him walk across the country on his hands, too?
Moving furniture is a much less cool story than breaking it trying to haul a deer carcass up the stairs. (Wasn't that the story for Clint Barmes a few years back?)
He was bringing groceries in, then he was bringing venison in (didn't say it was venison to protect Todd Helton), then it came out he fell off a 4-wheeler while hunting said venison.
Often with broken wrists you first try a conservative treatment of just putting a cast on the thing and waiting.
The venison injury has been pretty well circulated.
who was the pitcher that messed up his shoulder by sitting at a bad angle in a cab?
I've damaged my left wrist twice to the extent that it needed to be immobilized ... once tripping over a cat and getting my hand caught in railing.
Yeah, me too. I remember that it was groceries first because he was on my fantasy team and he was hitting .400 or so at the time. Then I heard the revision of the deer meat. Never heard it was actually a four-wheeler. Did that come out way later or something?
I have to admit that this joke is completely over my head.
