Hopefully we can move quickly against diseases and also drop our bias against any need to take medicines to improve our overall cognitive abilities and health.
Is it bias? Or is it concern that we don't have a good handle on how the brain functions, and screwing around with brain chemistry and may be, longterm, the wrong thing to do medically?

Adult ADD want widely recognized until the last decade, which explains the increase in diagnoses beyond just seeking a competitive edge.
There have been articles that mention how professors and PhD's openly admit that they abuse brain drugs to produce their work.
And as for the upper class white kids that get prescriptions for these drugs just before SAT's and major tests, well.....that isn't considered drug abuse or "cheating".
