i estimate that absolutely noone gives a damn about the NHL
If the Colts make the playoffs, does that show just how bad a coach Jim Cadwell was?
When it comes to dissent on the owners' side, Bettman only requires the support of eight teams to veto any proposal from the NHLPA.
So what is it about the piles of tv money the NFL and MLB are raking in without a work stoppage that the NHL hates so much?
Nick Foles time.
So the Bears head into their hardest stretch of games and of course have Cutler go down.
Poulanc, you didn't see Jason Campell play last night.
As for Nick Foles, it was interesting watching an Eagles QB float passes around like balloons with the hope that they would land softly in the arms of a motionless receiver. After ten years of McNabb always erring on the side of rifling the ball at the receiver's feet, and then Vick sowing chaos wherever he goes.
My buddy was telling me last night that occasionally backup QBs come in and surprise you. I sayd yeah, when the backup QB is Steve Young otherwise it's over.
How about we see if Nick Foles is even good enough to be a marginal starter before we compare him in anyway to Troy Aikman.
I would complain about Sanchez starting, but Tebow would be even worse.
But at least Rex Ryan is playing to win...oh, he punted down 21 in the fourth quarter? Nevermind.
at least with tebow, you have the potential to have a 10+ minute advantage in time of possession
Nick foles did not look good.
if you bring in a guy that can play now, that's one less hole that you have to worry about in free agency/at the draft.
Fun stat heard on M & M this morning - The last time the Chiefs won a game with a QB they drafted was 407 games ago, 1983, Todd Blackledge.
Mike Vick’s concussion will heal as soon as Nick Foles gets one.
Its kinda sad just how much Andy Reid lost of his so called 'integrity'.
I've come to appreciate that Arlington offers a few art galleries of note, occasional live music, and par excellence major-league sports
No way a team would have picked what projects to be a backup QB at best with a first rounder
I think that has more to do with Josh McDaniels and the attitude that he was smarter than everyone else. He's not the only New England coach who has had that attitude.
The most popular guy in town is often the backup quarterback until he starts to play and people remember why he was the backup in the first place.
RG3 is having a pretty fantastic day.
Yep, I fully expect the Eagles to announce that Vick is over his concussion as soon as this game ends.
Nick Foles kinda sucks.
are there a dearth of competent offensive linemen in pro football, a dearth of good line coaching, injury has ravaged the position or d-linemen are just that superior? because you look around the league and offensive line play as a group is horrible
