Looks like the Tigers aren't waiting until the World Series to do their annual Postseason Faceplant (tm).
Has anyone seen any sort of Q&A with Melvin about trying to bunt with Reddick with first and second and no out in the fifth and then NOT bunting with the go ahead run on second and nobody out and Crisp up in the 8th?

It wouldn't be a tradition if they'd hit the effing ball occasionally. I mean, you can't score off a rookie pitcher, guys? A kid who's been in the big leagues about twenty minutes? Really? Really? (It reminds me of the annual Red Wings Stanley Cup playoffs el foldo every spring, when Detroit makes mediocre opposing goalies look like Vezina Trophy winners. "Wings outshoot Nashville 80 billion to two, lose 2-0.")
Are they arrogant? Pressing? Stoned? Just not trying? You decide.
Look, there's no excuse for a lineup like Detroit's to get shut out for 17 straight innings in the playoffs. None. What, just becuse Miggy's hurting the rest of the team gives up? Geez.
