And yet his #### STILL doesn't work in the playoffs. The Giants winning 2 of 3 should be enough proof of the crap-shoot of the playoffs, but the gas bags have to insist it's a "story line". Sure they've been good, but it's still crazy-random-luck.

I was waiting to get something extra, to make this more like, you know, the BLOG that it is, rather than re-writing a press release. Once I got Melvin, I posted it.

Seriously, news is outdated now if you read it elsewhere first? Other outlets had it before the CC Times. So apparently you were reading already outdated news.

Sheesh. Again, this is just extra work for me. It's not paid. Feel free to go elsewhere for your news - I try to provide a little more when I can than just the basic three sentences off the Sporting News release.

Basically someone complained this was old news.... She continues on in the replies to this one... Sounds like she was having a bad day...

It was a stupid comment by the person. Maybe not worth the writer dignifying with a response. But her responses are completely correct.

Agreed, but every artifice on SFgate has someone complaining about that. I was surprised to see Slusser rise to the bait, and entertained as well. I have no complaints.

Weird example, as that was pretty much the only thing that didn't work out. All of the utility infielders were awful.

Ya gotta remember that, until the 2nd half of this year, "swinging a hot bat" in Oakland equated to about a 620 OPS.
