Then MVPhillips lays down a sac bunt.
Some of the shortstops who have a higher OPS than the guy batting #2 for the still-wild-card contending Yankees.
Latos with a complete game win. It's absolutely one of those games that makes you lament the current all-strikeouts-all-the-time mode of play. He only had two Ks, but just put tons of balls in play, many of which were weak popups and groundouts, and he let the defense do it's thing. Lots of fun to watch.
I just got back from a minor league game that featured:
-a first pitch home run in the top half, followed by a 9 spot in the bottom half of the first
-a triple play

They made a big deal of Harper's non-chalant trot down to 1B when the Nats were down 9 runs the other night. Then they made a big deal of Anthony Rendon's throw from 3B being non-chalant allowing a runner to advance. I'm not sure that in either case that more chalance would have changed anything.

Accounts of this and his prior mound appearance suggest an extreme lack of velocity. So... is he their bullpen catcher? Are these truly eephuses or knucklers? What the hell is he doing?
I know I'm late, but what in the name of god almighty is going the #### on with the Mets and Matsuzaka? That is some serious ########.
Last time I screamed "ANGELS !" I was at a Robbie Williams concert ! Oh, wait... I was never at a Robbie Williams concert... who cares... ANGELS !
Another couple days of this sort of #Natitude
The Dodgers are now 52-13 since 06/22. That is exactly an .800 W%
