Nice to run into everyone in the lobby of the Marriott last night at SABR43.
No, I didn't win the individual trivia contest. Finished fourth in the semis.
The Braves continue apace: 9-0 since the opening of The WH@TT. Hash browns are this year's rally monkeys.
Tropicana Field is actually full. I'm not sure I've ever seen an actual sellout there in the regular season, beyond the games where Sternberg handed out free tickets. Not sure what's so special about today that it attracted this kind of crowd.
Wil Myers' little leg kick/stride after crushing that home run is pretty funny
unless this expectations were ruthian the experts were wrong
Name the five former Yankees currently in another team's rotation.
brewer defense is painful to watch
Horton just said the MLB is going to make the announcements tomorrow.... wonder if that is true.
If not tomorrow, then certainly by mid-week. End of the week at the latest. Or by the end of August. Totally before the playoffs start though. Definitely by Christmas. Spring Training at the latest.
Another LaRoche HR? Oh. Axford. That explains it.
Alas, Nationals, alas.
like the kid's stuff
I hereby would like to say that Peter Capaldi certainly looks like a guy who would make a good Doctor (Who)
It's been mentioned in the A-Rod threads, but it is now being reported that any A-Rod suspension will be under the MLB drug policy and, thus, appealable, which is obviously different from the previous reporting, and possibly the future reporting.
I still say he's going to win a Cy if he's smart enough to sign in the NL.
0 Brawls started.
[Post 88 is actually a good approximation of what Peter Capaldi's Malcolm Tucker would say were he an Angels fan.
Funny to hear Kruk go off on today's steroid users whilst celebrating the 1993 Phillies.
