With the schedules remaining, what needs to happen- and is it technically possible- that we could see a gigantic entropic 5-way (or more) tie for the second Wild Card?
Maybe the Braves are trying to get a closer look at him with an eye towards replacing McCann next year.

Attendance at Camden looks more like O's 2009 playing the Rays in September tonight. This can't be RGIII fever or something, can it? I'd say this is a huge series with the Yankees, but maybe folks have simply gotten smarter than me and fully figured out that this "one game Wild Card Playoff" is a bunch of Selig ########. Which it is.

The bunt actually didn't seem bad (though why hit for Cain if you're bunting? I assume Cain is a decent bunter as a speedster type), but if you have the tying run on third with 1 out why in the world would you ever PH with Carlos Pena? YOu need someone to get the damn bat on the ball and Pena is a whiff machine.
