the Nationals need to go at least 8-3 on this upcoming homestand (3 vs. Dodgers, 4 vs. Pirates, 4 vs. Mets) for the final two months of the season to have much meaning.

I don't know if anyone's ever tabulated it, but I would guess Yankees at Boston is the most scheduled ESPN Sunday night matchup since it began in 1990, followed by St. Louis at Cubs. (Boston at Yankees would probably be #3, although Cubs at St. Louis would be further down the list, trailing Giants at Dodgers and/or Dodgers at Giants.)

Philly may not be having a great season, but I hadn't realized that Utley was Utley again this year. 123 ops+, 2.9 war season to date and even 7 steals in 67 games.
