Bill Madden and his friends falsely refer to him as a Hall of Famer.

Barry Bonds and Jeff Bagwell are not.

Given how few players get caught why are stiffer penalties important? It seems to me that the anti-PED zealots should be screaming for more frequent or stronger testing. If the testing is working and catching only 4-5 players a year then I don't think there is a widespread problem to worry about. If the problem is more widespread then harsher penalties won't change things.

I wonder if these folks favor jail time for parking tickets.

Doing something which in totally other circumstances could be wrong should be at least a 25-day suspension.
