Giants are pouring it on the Padres right now. Maybe the Dodgers shoulda gone after Scutaro when he was available, he's been a pleasant surprise for the Giants.
Hard as it is to believe, Scutaro is now second in hits in the NL, behind only McCutchen.
With 177 hits, and 15 games remaining. This seems really low.
Then again, this is exactly where I expected them to be at the beginning of the year. Even with their hot start I still expected this to happen. So maybe it's not that the team is super depressing, what's super depressing is that they couldn't even surprise me, just a little bit.
Also, Adrian Gonzalez is an asshole. He hits like an asshole, he plays an asshole first base. He has an asshole face.
With Teixiera in the same reality, I just don't see it.
