My predictions will be more than a little biased with good old fashioned homerism with a mix of the absurd. But since the postseason never makes sense anyway, this might just work. Ahem:

I've seen this a lot, and I really don't understand why having the first two games at home is such an advantage.
Because if the "lesser" team starts out 2-0, then the "better" team is facing three elimination games. If they're down 2-0 in the first inning of Game Three, they have to consider pulling their starter, burning the bullpen for Games 4 and 5.'
