I just think it's silly that people assume there is no chance he resigns with the Sox. Sure, if someone wants to offer a Crawford contract to him, more power to Ellsbury, take it and enjoy your life. But why not 5 yrs $17M per?
But I think it will take more than 5/$17m to sign him.
