It’s not surprising to hear what two scouts from each league, who both have watched a lot of the American League this year, say about Dustin Pedroia.

Hey Al it says here Napolly has taken a PEZ for a lack of blood flow to his Groyne. They have drugs for that now Al but you have to hold hans with some Dame in a Bath Tub while you take them. Can these guys not just watch a forren movie or maybe read 500 Sheets of Greay.

I've never run into a problem when submitting but it seems many people have. Harveys hates the system with a spectacular passion* so there must be something confusing.

* - For some reason I initially spelled "passion" P-A-S-H-I-O-N. This is not a good sign.

I can never get URLs to work in the submission box (as should be made clear from this one). It was easier when we had the little tag buttons for bold, italics, quote, url, etc. right above the box there as we do for the comment box on posted articles. I don't know if The Jim removed those to discourage people from quoting large portions of the linked article or what.

Wait. Wait..wait. They now do MRI's on hips as part of a standard physical, but only begrudgingly did an MRI on Ellsbury ribs after the "Suckitupyoucryingbitch therapy" didn't take? Getting rid of that Dr. Spaceman guy was the best thing the Sox ever did.

Can't you see Napoli is still a young man. Time will tell if he can recapture the magic from back in the day of 2011 or if he's just a flash in the pan. On the serious side, I just hope this deal isn't a ball and chain for the Sox, but I think the clean slate will be good for him and he will be a credit to the Sox lineup. Believe it.

It's impossible for this deal to be a ball and chain. If he flops, it's 5 mil and one year down the drain. It sucks but it's hardly catastrophic the way a long term deal could be.

totally agree. I'm not confident the Sox will do anything other then touch .500 this year anyway. So if he holds up and does well, you actually make an attempt to sign him for another year or two, and if the hips go bad, it's only 5 mil and the team will still be the poster child for mediocrity.

The Ellsbury ####### were in 2010. After that season they removed the medical director but retained their affiliation with Mass Gen (where the former medical director is still head of ortho and involved with the Sox) under slightly different leadership. This offseason they've overhauled the training staff, but as far as I know they haven't made any significant changes to their medical team.

The same formatting buttons that you see for comments should be available when you make submissions. Although I thought I had fixed the bug related to Expression Engine changing the code for making standalone submissions, the problem has reappeared.

I will start working on a permanent fix. Sorry about the problem.
