I'd imagine with fielding Phillips makes all that up and more.
Brandon Phillips on the other hand...I'm sure he's a heck of a guy to be around but too much of his schtick might get old I would think.
Based on what I've seen/read of him, Joey Votto has to be one of the most cerebral and intelligent players to ever play the game.
I thought there was a snippet of footage missing after the first pitch because I've become so conditioned to the batter stepping out after every pitch that Votto staying in his stance after the pitch felt so visually distorting to me.
This is one of the greatest examples of playing with another player's mind I've ever seen.
