Beane will trade for Yunel Escobar for a song. Anthopoulos wouldn't have, the Marlins will. He'll likely kicka$$ again, on a sweet contract, knowing Beane's luck lately.

After watching the Tigers-A's series, I really wanted the Tigers to sign Drew for defense alone.

Then after watching the Tigers-Yankees series, I was pretty happy to have Peralta.

Honestly, I have no idea who'd be more valuable next year.

Neither, I think. In Spanish "Jh" is a legitimate way of representing the English "J" sound. Since the J by itself might be interpreted as an H sound.

BB-ref lists a ton of minor league players named "Jhonatan", "Jhason", "Jhason", etc. It seems like it became trendy in the late 80s.

The earliest examples are all named "Jhonny". Carvajal, Jimenez, Gonzalez.

And a few named "Yhonny" and "Yhonatan" as well. And former Dodgers reliever Yhency Brazoban.
