Steve, you took the words right out of my mouth. So, we go to a Convention largely to experience the Convention. There's a concept with some value.
Are we sure Houston doesn't count as a "Western" convention? - I know MHS thinks it is.
And if you can figure out the bus routes, there are a ton of great restaurants all within about 5-10 minutes of the Sonesta.

I agree with Mike that the most annoying conflict are the presentations by Dan Levitt and Mike Haupert.
