Never saw him play
Was gonna say the same thing as AG1 in #5 -- the Rays sure seem to have cornered the market on guys with drug trouble... It's ironic or tragic that the most of them - Josh Hamilton - actually did his best work once he left the organization.
I'm not one who cares much for the whole 'drug war' nor am I PEDist - but you'd think at some point, the Rays would recognize that they seem to have a problem of proportions beyond most other teams and try to do something about it...
One of the side effects of PED is invisible.
4 of the top 10 Rays prospects according to BA have been suspended for drugs use - Tim Beckham (pot), Ryan Brett (meth), Taylor Guerreri (pot), and now Colome (Boldenone).
Other Rays minor leaguers suspended for drug use in the last two years:
Josh Sale (former first round pick) - methamphetamine and amphetamine
Charles Cononie - methamphetamine and amphetamine
Justin Woodall - methamphetamine and amphetamine
Doesn't Joe Maddon live in a trailer?
