10 years ago Sweeney was a 29 year old pitching in Tacoma for the 4th time (without making the majors once). He got brought up in September to get some garbage time innings. I'm not trying to rag on Sutcliffe, I'm just utterly baffled by that description and wondering if Seattle had some other Sweeney.
This game reminds me a bit of the DR-Italy game.
