But does he know the lyrics to ” Let’s Go to the Mall” or the “Beaver Song”?
“LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLA. - How many national teams can boast having a suitable replacement for an MVP winner?
Had Joey Votto’s knee prevented him from playing in this month’s World Baseball Classic, Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman was ready and willing to wear the maple leaf.
“I told the players association to make sure they let the WBC know that both my parents were born in Canada,” Freeman ...

Beltran, the Molina brothers, Alex Rios, Angel Pagan, Mike Aviles, plus some major league hurlers.
It's not on MLB.tv, instead it's through the WBC website and/or an app they are offering. It's only available if you have one of the participating service providers though, although, this being the internet, I'm sure there are some... other methods.
Team Netherlands advanced to the second round in their bracket, thanks in part to Ludovicus Jacobus Maria Van Mil. Presumably, because it was a WBC tee, it's, like, actually a Weapon of Mass Destruction or something, so he's out and Team USA is going to call on a different 1B to replace him (which, given Teix's infamous starts of seasons, could be a good thing, depending on who they get).

I dunno. The Cubans are looking scary. The other Latin teams have some good offense but cuba's pitching looks sharp.
Wang is starting that game, seem like the best idea to go all in and try and beat Japan.
Taiwan would go bat #### insane if we could get past Tokyo
Also, while Hosmer is a WTF pick when you look at last year's stats, the fact he'd been having a kick-ass spring and is a Team USA alum makes me a bit more optimistic than it normally would be. And given the scramble that no doubt ensued with Teixeira getting hurt, it probably was going to have to be a Arizona guy.
