Could Doolittle still hit at all? Can he be the mythical ultimate moneyball two way player? Draws walks, doesn't give them out?
Williams Wagner
Carlton Crawford
Dandridge Johnson
Edit: Also Lloyd Waner, Hoyt Wilhelm, Alexander Cartwright and Morgan Bulkeley.
edit to add: This actually was a friend. It's not one of those situations in which you're embarrassed to admit it's you, so you pin it on "a friend".
You mean he's been talking about Branch Ricky in the third person all of these years?
i keep waiting for the o's to break down...
I would love to know who the people most frequently confused with each other are. As a kid it can happen with anyone. Someone tells you Chuck Norris and Jack Morris are the same person and you're just like "Wow! What a talented man."
I found out a few days ago that Bryan Cranston and Bradley Whitford are two different people. I guess I just didn't know who Bradley Whitford was, and saw him in "Cabin In The Woods" and thought he was Bryan Cranston.
Don't forget Fingers Bottomley
Bench Plank, Dickey Bender, Slaughter Foxx, Rice Wheat, Lemon Tinker, Young Youngs, and Frick Flick say hi.
I noticed Anderson's pace in his first game back. Doesn't he always work very quickly?
I hope Jane Kaczmarek never made that mistake.
But they say no such thing about King.
Yep, one of the quickest. And he's gotten a bit quicker each year.
I always had the same problem with Candy Maldonado and Carmello Martinez
All the more reason to love him. I actually got to bed at 10 pm last night! Now, if he could only get to first base to cover the bag half as fast as he pitches...
That's easy, Miguel Batista is the novelist, Javier Vazquez isn't.
Real shame to see Mike Piazza caught up in the same business as Leo Nuñez/Fausto Carmona.
I love the top review from that page:
I'd rather see the review from Miss Iowa.

Kelly Johnson was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1974.
Roger Craig. It's really pretty unfair, if you think about it, as a kid growing up in the Bay Area in the 80's - Roger Craig was a somewhat well-known former pitcher who managed the Giants from 1985-'92, and Roger Craig was a very successful running back for the 49ers from '83-'90.
