1) Blackley takes Straily's start on Saturday and wins pitching well
2) Straily pitches Monday and gets shelled but the A's win anyway
3) Anderson's MRI comes back almost negative and he'll only miss 1 start.
4) A's realize Blackley's better than Straily and keep Travis in the rotation
5) Anderson takes Straily's spot and is in line to pitch in the WC game.
If the A's can manage to go 5-9 the rest of the way, the Angels have to go 9-4 to pass them.
6 at home to end the season against Seattle and a Texas team that probably will have clinched. If Texas hasn't clinched by that point you are probably in incredibly good shape.
