Why? If I'm the Angels I'd be happy with the opposition giving me a free baserunner every time. Pujols, as awesome as he is, is no Barry Bonds circa 2001.
But you'd have to put a lot of stock on a small sample size of at bats to conclude that Hamilton is that bad, when the vast majority of evidence is that he isn't.
But even if you think he looks overmatched, you have no idea when he's going to snap out of it. And this isn't like an IBB in front of a pitcher. When Hamilton snaps out of it, that free baserunner you put on in front of him could well be immediately scoring.
