    I was nervous when I clicked on the link, hoping that the Baseball Project would get a mention. Thankfully they did. Highly recommended!!

    Sure Shot is a killer track of a classic album, but it's one line in the song - I'm sure there are other better songs about baseball out there...

    Catfish by Dylan is an excellent song. Humorous and bluesy, and he's in good vocal form. Couldn't find anything but snips of it or covers on youtube. Too bad.

    I'm a big Warren Zevon fan. I like his song, "Bill Lee." It's not better than "Centerfield".

    And some of those songs aren't really baseball songs. I mean, "Rocket Man"? Since when?

    Any list of this nature that does not include (a) Man from Spavinaw by Tom Russell; (b) Laughing River by Greg Brown; and (c) My Favorite Spring by Tom Paxton
