Utah's signing Tinsley? Ugh.
My relationship with the Bulls is weird, in that I have the utmost respect for their players, I love their coach (primarily from his Celtics days), and I like Moses and madvillain (and I'm sure I'm forgetting the other Bulls fans- sorry), but it all adds up to hate. Can't stand the team.
I guess I need a new favorite team to hate
I guess I need a new favorite team to hate with the C's so irrelevant, so it could be the Knicks again - if they were better this year perhaps (though I'm a huge Chandler fan and am so glad he's been successful). I can't really work up the nerve to hate the Heat, because I really do admire/appreciate their greatness even though I really do dislike Wade/Bosh/Riley (more evidence of LBJ's greatness at work). I guess the Pacers could fill that gap, but with Hansborough and Foster not around, the only person involved with the Pacers I don't like is Vogel (and even that's relatively minor); I'm co-piloting the George bandwagon with NJ here and I've always been a huge Hibbert fan. I guess it could be the Nets, since they have the C's stink all over them. But I'm a Williams fan (college thing), and it's hard to dislike Prokhorov. I dunno, I'm at a turning point here, so this is an important season for my sports hate near-future.
I can't wait to see what Iguodala does with the team.

Kobe said he has “scaled back” from increased workouts in China to try and let the Achilles calm down a bit, “loosen up.” It’s still tight.
Asked about the Jazz’s fourth-year swingman before Wednesday night’s preseason game and the Clippers head coach had to interrupt.
"I have a man crush on that guy," Rivers said. "He’s really good."
royce white - also giving him the benefit of the doubt.
vander blue - hasn't stood out
"Not as much as you would think, probably," White said. "I have real-life anxieties, like three children, so I think about them most of the day. And then I think about business, so it's appropriately important. And especially with things like that — I've been coached by doctors, counselors, to keep things that are out of your control out of your mind. Actively force yourself to try and not harp on things that aren't in your control. The only thing that I can control is coming out and playing, and whether I make the roster is obviously out of my control, once the game is over."
Wow White was waived? I want to feel sorry for the guy but I kinda can't. In a way Bison Dele never did, White comes off as self-important. I understand he's dealing with a mental illness and that it's a disease but at some point you have to take a little self responsibility.
Even Jordan-fatigue or LeBron-fatigue is a sad bid of jaded-ness, where you tire of a guy being only as mind-blowingly great as the last time you saw him, rather than appreciating amazing while it's in front of you in it's athletic prime.
the Asik / Howard combo looked a lot better this game
there was a stretch in the early 3rd where the Harden / Howard combo was neigh unstoppable
white - let's keep it simple. he was terrible in the d-league, terrible in preseason, and gives you headaches off the floor. philly was paid (cash + a prospect) to take him off houston's hands - i'm not at all surprised to see him gone.
Yannick Noah, in particular, is really easy to hate
I don't think my "Jordan fatigue" had anything to do with not appreciating greatness. It was mainly just "My team is good enough to potentially win a championship and this ####### ####### won't let us."
This strikes me as a ridiculous statement to make about someone who owns a wholly undeserved MVP and, next to KD, is probably the media darling of the present generation of NBA stars.
This too. Though I remember being bored with the Bulls winning even before it was happening against my team. I think I admired and appreciated the individual greatness just fine - I just enjoy seeing a little more variety in my champions.
backwards to appease J.R. ####### Smith
What does Rose do that LeBron doesn't? (I'm being sincere in this question -- I'll admit to have only seen a few playoff games with Derrick Rose)
What does Rose do that LeBron doesn't?
I'd pick Boston lower, but the last four teams will be aggressively tanking in such an epic way that the True Hoop bloggers will actually start cutting on themselves.
Makes free throws.
What does Rose do that LeBron doesn't?
Oh oh, I got it! Not abandon his home town team.
@WojYahooNBA If Bogut stays healthy, he'll get paid like an elite center. If injury problems return, it's a 3-year, $12M annual base for Golden State.
I hope Brown doesn't take minutes from Rice Jr.
FWIW, I think healthy, Irving is the best point in the league. At this point, I'd rather have him than Paul
Clippers : I actually don't think they're better than the Rockets, but the 2nd best team in the division might be the 4th best team in the SW and the 3rd best team is clearly worse than the 5th.
Spurs : the combination of resting guys and an insane division.

Paul crushes Irving.

Why wouldn't Curry be considered a PG (ESPECIALLY if we're comparing him to Kyrie)? Responding to madvillain, but also thought it was weird a bunch of GMs apparently thought he was a 2 based on their annual evaluation.
