Negativland: This guys from Canada and who gives a ####!
Other catchers with OPS+ of 64 or worse included Kevin Cash, Alberto Castillo, Bob Davis, Ken Huckaby, Mike Matheny, Lance Parrish, and Sandy Martinez
People are going to have bad things to say, if I was hitting .300 and I only had two walks
Is there a "Blue Jays Way" or are they just winging it?
Sheesh - he is in his own world isn't he? Currently hitting 200/236/374 for an OPS+ of 64. That is horrid. Now, some Jays have done worse - Alfredo Griffin hit for a 64 OPS+ in his Jays career, as did Pat Tabler while John McDonald is at 63. Other catchers with OPS+ of 64 or worse included Kevin Cash, Alberto Castillo, Bob Davis, Ken Huckaby, Mike Matheny, Lance Parrish, and Sandy Martinez (with 100+ PA as a Jay) but I don't think JPA wants to be in that group.
It is smart to mainly listen to those who decide if he plays or not, but the main reason he is still playing everyday is the utter failure of Henry Blanco and Josh Thole this year
When I saw Negativland in concert, they weren't allowed to use the Casey Kasem audio.
"The ones that are critical are the ones that most of the time never played and don’t really understand it."

WAR hates Matt Wieters's defense this year, it finds Arencibia's about average,
I don't think Arencibia is dumb, actually. He's just been very poorly coached since he came to the pros. It starts with his defense; guy can't catch the ball because he sets up all screwy.
