guy on my softball team hit a pop up foul down the 1b line one time...wind took it and blew it into the parking lot - and then directly into his own windshield.
Good for Melky, he's on pace to put up surprisingly great career numbers (especially counting stats.)
Out of Fenway Park and right into some poor person’s car.
The avenue (Nebraska Ave.) behind my DC high school's former baseball field used to allow on-street parking between 9:30 in the morning and 4:00 in the afternoon, and the avenue was sitting right behind the right field fence that was all of 180' from home plate. Balls hit over the fence at that point were ruled ground rule singles, and since the games began at 3:00, more than a few of those singles wound up smashing through windshields.
