Agreed. I just spent the last 10 days of August in the Muskoka/Haliburton area without TV, radio or internet, and didn't miss watching them at all. And I haven't watched more than an at-bat or 2 at a time since I got back (Had to catch up on Louie and Wilfred after all).

It's obviously frustrating for the Jays' organization, living in a universe where they can't get away with anything, but you'd think this would teach them to stop trying to get away with things and just do everything as well as they can.

Short memory I guess. Jeff Mathis has pitched this season. Twice.
I've blocked most of them out, but there have been games that were at least similarly embarrassing. The SARS game, for one.
They got stomped 12-0, and nearly rained out in a domed stadium.
There was a game in 1995 (I think this one) where Danny Darwin pitched poorly and an acoustic panel fell off the facing of the 500 level, injuring a fan sitting in the 200 level.
A rematch of '71/'79? I could go for that.
