And the only sport where the coach/manager regularly enters the field of play (although there is no real reason for him to do so.)
Which seems a bit bizarre. I guess technically coaches may hit ground balls or throw BP or something before a game so a suit may not be feasible, but hockey or soccer coaches manage to do that sort of thing in a track suit.
I have no idea what the other batting team's players are getting up to during cricket. They've got to be doing similar things to baseball players ... how can anybody pay attention to anything for that length of time.
