Shades of Hairspray!...“It was a time of tradition, a time of values, and a time…to shake things up.”

I had a very chance encounter with Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor on Saturday afternoon in lower Manhattan because my wife happened to have an appointment at a ...

I would love to meet the team of people who imagined was a good idea.
Nothing screams masculinity like silver bullets.
I thought that screamed wolfmaninity?
Dr Pepper 10 is somehow vastly inferior to both Dr Pepper and Diet Dr Pepper. I threw away the last 3 cans of the 12 pack.
Recently tried Innis & Gunn, and I was pleasantly surprised. The vanilla was a bit overpowering, though. Victory Prima Pils might be the most drinkable beer I've tried lately.
One of the cooler points of CitiField is that Brooklyn Brewery has a couple of beers exclusive to the park.
Brooklyn has a Shake Shack specific beer too, if I remember correctly. There's also a Katz's beer. There are a surprising amount of places that have them - I've hardly had any of them though.
I've been enamored with the Firestone IPA recently. Their stout is pretty good too. I also finally found an imperial stout that doesn't make me cringe - the Oskar Blues Ten Fidy. Still ridiculously powerful, though, so I have to be in the mood for it, and it'll probably be the only beer I have that night since it's almost 11% alcohol.
"I always drink beer. like 30 of them at a time. And when I do, I prefer Coors Light. Unless something else is on sale."
He is....the least interesting man in the world.
That is quality
I love the #### out of that brewery. If that brewery were a woman....

Depends on what you are looking for. It is an approachable whiskey because of that sweetness. I found it quite delightful as a sipper and I can see doing a shot of it but it isn't something I would do lots of nor do I see it being a good mixer. Plus I'm betting it would give you one hell of a hangover.
1. At what point do we begin to doubt that all of these location specifics beers are actually unique?
2. Who, when spending $200+ for their food, gets beer?
3. How much do they produce, like, a gallon every week?
Per Se wine list pdf
$35 for 750 mL. The markups on that list are unbelievable. They charge $12 for beers that cost $5-$8 everywhere else on earth. But given that the wines by the glass average about $35 each, some people must choose the beer.
Blue Apron, Per se's exclusive beer, is not exclusive just to Per Se. It is, however, an on-premise only item exclusive to Thomas Keller's restaurants, like California's French Laundry.
I haven't gotten to try it, and probably never will, but I'd take Mr. Oliver's word that it is a unique creation.
As for who would buy beer when spending 200$ on food? I would, given my mood and what I am getting. Wine isn't any better with food than beer is, nor is beer any better than wine. It all depends on what you are getting, what is available and what you're in the mood for.
And yeah, it sucks to pay 12 bucks for a Prima Pils, but it also sucks to pay 400 bucks for a bottle of Viader. But, Per Se knows you're not going there to be thrifty.
And yes, I prefer both option to Clamato straight up.
