Former Cardinals outfielder Fernando Tatís once famously hit 2 Grand Slams in one inning and set a Major Leage record with 8 RBI in one frame but that may not be his biggest feat. Lately it seems that Fernando has been lighting up the world of graphic design and his all original creations are truly a sight to behold and the world needs to stand up and take notice.

Apparently one in 2002 and another in 2009, as well as a resisting arrest charge in 2007.
Maybe, but how likely were the St. Louis County Police to go after a local hero for a one-car accident that caused minor damage? Wouldn't be surprised either way.
Why wouldn't they? It would be pretty scandalous if someone found out he was drunk and they let him go.
No, no, no. Lassus that is terrible advice and you should know that living in the NE. Hit the deer, you may hurt your car, so what. Swerve and go off the road in the NE and you will most likely hit a tree, which can hurt you a whole lot more than a deer will.
But ALWAYS swerve for moose. If you take out their long legs the body falls on your windshield, then you.
Try it on a motorcycle and you stand a great chance of dying.
I've laid a bike down to avoid deer before, but I've also put a car in a ditch before when speeding down a country road (as a very young lad) and blamed deer when the cops came.
Odd thing is that Freese was on his way to meat Clint Barmes...
The story doesn't rule out an investigation taking place at the scene, only that nothing further was warranted.
The question for Freese is if you hit a tree are you allowed to eat it.
About 10 years ago I clipped a deer that was crossing a back road near the Mormon Temple in Kensington (MD), and just two weeks ago I had to slam on my brakes when an SUV had to stop in front of me, in order to avoid a deer that was running full speed. I turned to follow the deer's path, and he was running towards a 7-11 on University Blvd., which is one of Montgomery County's main arteries. There's a punch line in there somewhere, but my venison chili is getting cold.
I regularly have deer in my backyard in suburban Fairfax County, just south of Alexandria. IIRC, some researchers have suggested that there are now more deer than in the Colonial Period.

They give us rednecks something to shoot that isn't people. Also, they are delicious.
Fortunately, it turned out that it was not one of my Mom's horses but one that had escaped from someone a few blocks over. The car was really messed up and someone ended up shooting the horse in the street to end it's suffering. Ah, Michigan. Happy Holidays.
Cows are delicious as well but we don't let them roam free out in the wild.
If we're going to start culling a herd for safety purposes, it should be the longpig, not the deer.
The antlers.
Rest assured, the St. Louis police department represents the best law enforcement in baseball.
My dad once hit a deer while he was riding his motorcycle on I-94 near Madison. He was driving from Milwaukee to visit me and my wife in Minneapolis. Fortunately, he was wearing a helmet and leathers. His bike was destroyed and he was knocked unconscious but luckily he didn't break any bones or suffer any lasting injuries. He showed me his helmet when I saw him after the accident. Parts of it were ground flat from skidding across pavement. He would definitely have been killed if he hadn't been wearing a full-face helmet and was very lucky to have not been run over by a car or truck while he was laying in the middle of the freeway unconscious.
my son watched the whole thing happen in little guy horror. he was devastated.
