Former Cardinals outfielder Fernando Tatís once famously hit 2 Grand Slams in one inning and set a Major Leage record with 8 RBI in one frame but that may not be his biggest feat. Lately it seems that Fernando has been lighting up the world of graphic design and his all original creations are truly a sight to behold and the world needs to stand up and take notice.

1. cardsfanboyQuestion to fans of other teams. Do your teams get the same complaint about streaky hitting? That has been a primary complaint against the Cardinals offense for at least 15 years, and I'm just curious if this is one of those complaints that is true for all teams?
Well in St Louis, it's about 15 years, basically with TLR becoming manager and him bringing in American League style baseball.
I always got the impression that other teams/fans/writers had the same complaint about their own team. Which always made the complaints somewhat useless. (And of course another complaint I see from multiple teams/fans is that their team can't hit soft tossing lefties that don't belong in the majors)
As Bill James pointed out, Herzog tends to overrate curveball pitchers, apparently because Herzog himself could not hit a good curve.
That may be true, but Rosenthal looks like a legit closer. Motte's pretty good as well. Mujica and Rzep could be solid. The pen doesn't strike me as significantly above average. I'm just hoping we can actually match our pythag record this year.
