    I'm having no issues with MLBN.


    Mine is working now, but it went down for about 10 minutes. RCN issue I guess since everything else was fine. I could still see on postseason tv

    Why would Kaat be surprised that they're going to the pen? Wasn't Milone over the 100-pitch mark? Might as well let the pen take it from here.

    It was written by someone from something called “Baseball Think Factory.” I may be displaying my ignorance in not knowing what that is, but it sounds like something where its advocates could do themselves a favor by not thinking so much and just watch games for the pure enjoyment of them

    Had Crisp managed to barehand that, it would've been an amazing reflex catch.

    When I watch games for the enjoyment factor I get distracted by the things that aren't stats and analysis, like trying to figure out how well A.J. Griffin sees with his glasses off, and then why he is the complete reverse of Jason Motte who doesn't wear glasses to pitch but can't see anything at all off the field without them, and then I get to wondering why all teams just don't start filtering out poor-hitting catchers and shortstops at the Rookie level by making them throw off the mound while being clocked with the gun.

    I walked by a big Curt Young picture every day of my high school career. Someone gave me an autographed Curt Young baseball before I even cared about sports. So despite his unremarkable playing career, my ears have always started burning a bit any time I hear Young's name mentioned.

    FWIW, Gregg Zaun's take was it was a bush league play that Crisp should've easily made. Then again, he was rolling, calling Melvin's bullpen management bush league as well.

    Just seemed like Coco was playing really deep and he hesitated for a beat too long and it was over from there.

    Slusser's, though not by much. I was not at all sure that he was going to get to the ball.

    Also, yay for a leadoff baserunner. That's how you need to follow up a catastrophe like that one.
