I understand Fielder is an awesome hitter and it sets up a force at home, but man...I would not want to load the bases with a pitcher as wild as Balfour on the mound.
There's a runner on third either way. The extra runner on second doesn't matter on a wild pitch
Seriously, it's crazy that the team with the home field advantage is now in a must-win-out situation before playing an inning on their home field.
Oh, I'm not happy with the result either. But the game was really good."

Gonzalez has a no hitter going.
Green light on 3-0 for Gio at this point, even doing ok this inning, seems incredibly stupid.
The announcer talking about Strasburg's handling versus Wainwright and almost glossed over the most important difference a 31 year old vs a 23 year old. (and of course didn't remotely mention the contract status of the two. What advantage does the Cardinals have in saving Wainwright? He's only signed through 2013)
