    Where does Zito rank on SPA for the Giants right about now?

    I generally don't run the numbers until after the series is over. Zito, though, is fortuitously easy to calculate right now; Game 5 of a 3-1 series has .25 weight, and his WPA is almost bang-on .300, so he's enhanced their series-winning odds by .075 (and their Series-winning odds by .0375), a bit more if you add his .034 batting WPA.

    Rather subdued applause from the fans for Zito, I guess with the playoffs, normal fan behavior for the opposition is reduced.

    Yes. I'm told that the Cardinal fans are no different than other fans, so I'm assuming that is the norm.

    Shelby Miller, the teams number one prospect. Due to him being born in Texas, he's compared to Nolan Ryan and Roger Clemens.

    We only need three more runners and a big fly.. Would have been nice to have gotten those two runs when we had mad on third and less than two outs.

    wtf is up with MLB gamecast. It has SF scoring 4 runs in the fourth and when you click on the play by play it has a Scutaro single and Blanco walk. I am sure it is me, but WTF is that???
