On the tie-breaker, I will assume it is guaranteed money - that is, an option year for 30 mil with a 5 mil buyout counts as 5 mil, not 30.
In any case, please make a ruling one way or the other, ASAP.
I don't get all these Josh Hamilton to the Dodgers predictions. Where would he play? Don't they already have 3 very highly paid OFs? Plus a very highly paid 1B?
I don't get all the SP predictions for the White Sox. After resigning Peavy and keeping Floyd, they have 6 SPs. I guess there's a chance they trade one, but not because they sign someone like Lohse or Haren.
