Agreed. Teams should at least shuffle 27-year-old AAAA lifers or swap a low-A live arm with control issues for a recent Dominican signing with a questionable makeup, just to keep things interesting for the fans.
Cuz last offseason I was so busy trading Zambrano, Marshall, Colvin and completing the trade for myself that I didn't even notice that Albert Pujols was a free agent. Jed will tell you, first time we played them, I asked "how come Pujols isn't in the lineup?" Man those were hectic times -- fun but just, y'know, hectic.
