He's still been better through his first 2500 PA's then say Matt Kemp was through his first 2500 PA's, but the clock is ticking pretty fast now on whether or not Upton is just going to be a good player or a great player.
I'll be fine with him being a good player that is worth more than his contract, but it will still sting a bit if he fails to become great. And the fans and mainstream media, (other than Piecoro) will give him a really hard time for not being great.
