@488, I stand by what I said. If his downside is solid starter, he should have been the #1 pick by a mile.
Shane Larkin is Barry Larkin's son? How did I not know this?
Maxwn: I'll make a bet with you right now for a bref sponsorship. If Burke isn't on the all rookie team you win, if he is I win. Friendly little bet to keep us on our toes.
Simmons thinks karasev was for Houston, I think - mentally already did a Robinson flip
so, if they do that, cleveland will have tristan thompson (#4 overall), thomas robinson (#5 overall) and anthony bennett (#1 overall) at the same position and none of them could legitimately play either the 3 or the 5.
Wolves take Dieng with 21... ok that's not terrible, I like Dieng a lot actually.
I haven't followed college ball at all for several years now so I didn't really know much of anything about Trey Burke, but now that everyone is talking about him I'm feeling really excited. Burke, Favors, Kanter, Hayward, plus a bunch of cap space to hopefully grab a worthwhile vet or two...yeah I'm stoked.
Only 4 more months until the 2013-2014 season kicks off! :-)
Soloman Hill? in the first round?
Hill was my favorite second round prospect.
Most of the NBA guys I know have mentioned that Burke is a likely 15-25 year starter in the NBA. A 10 year starter would be his floor.
You have no idea what you are talking about Maxwn.
Sam Amick ?@sam_amick 16s
So Warriors flipped the No. 26 to OKC, and now have No. 29. Allen Crabbe the No. 26 pick.
Statistical top-10 player Andre Roberson to OKC at 26.
Isn't there some limit on buying into the draft?
Is it the 12-13 season or 13-14 season?
Pierce to Memphis is really interesting.
Again, I bet they wish they had a real coach about now - either Karl or Hollins would be very interesting with that group.
I don't think the Nets beat the Bulls or Pacers either, not unless JJ and Pierce have throw back seasons. But that's a much more interesting team now. Again, I bet they wish they had a real coach about now - either Karl or Hollins would be very interesting with that group.
Won't Frank do most of the actual coaching? I figure Kidd would just be managing ego until he figures out what the hell is going on.
I owe a thousand cokes
